Our Story
Pleasant Valley Rescue Ranch is a public benefit nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. Specifically, PVRR will prevent cruelty to animals through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement of abused or starving horses
The Founders
The founders and startup donors of PVRR are the Paul C. Rizzo Family, owners and managers of an engineering and construction management company near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, All are horse lovers and enjoy recreational riding. The majority of the owners live at the Pleasant Valley Rescue Ranch in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Paul C. Rizzo, the incorporator of the non-profit corporation, serves as the non-compensated Chairman of the Board of Directors.
